Range day with my G29sf

I went out Sunday afternoon with my Glock 29sf and fired around 150 rounds. I fired HPR 200 grain HP(strong), PPU 180 grain(weak stuff) , Freedom Munitions 180 grain FMJ and HP, and Defender Ammo 180 grain 180. I was using my Lonewolf barrel and only had an issue with the Freedom Munitions 180 grain HP. It would not cycle, kept hanging up on the feed ramp. It was at the end of the day, and everything else fired fine. I need to clean my barrel but am concerned the tighter tolerance might be an issue with some hollowpoints, making it useless as a carry barrel. I was planning on using it for everything because I don't need a "range" barrel. I need a barrel that feeds everything. I'm not accurate enough to get the benefit of a tighter barrel, but I do okay and get lucky as depicted in the picture below:

That was from 20 yards away. I'd like to say it was my first shot, but it took a few to get close. :) (My witness is Brent at Advanced Holster)

I do need to have my trigger guard undercut to prevent the Glock knuckle. I also want my finger groves removed. I practiced the El Presidente and am sloooow. That is going to take some work.

The Defender Ammo is here in Fayetteville. I'm not sure what type of hollowpoint they are using, I'll post a picture, but the prices are great, and they buy brass. Cheaper than the weak PPU ammo I found at Jim's Pawn Shop.

If the pictures don't work, let me know. I have had issue posting from Google photos in the past.

you need to change the permissions on those google photos.  no one but you can see them.

Thank you. I knew I was doing something wrong.

Hopefully they work now.   8)

I'm not sure about what was "wrong" with your original post. I viewed it within minutes after you posted the thread, and 3 pics were visible to me (one target and two of ammo boxes). Google account content is permission specific, but it doesn't appear to me to have been an issue with your original post.

I'll take some pictures tonight when I get home. I have the HPR 200 grain JHP loaded in it now.

I blame google.  :)) After they changed Google Photos I can never seem to post the pictures. I didn't know about the "permissions", so I moved those 3 pictures to a shared album, and it seems to work now.

What's wrong with the stock barrel? Should bang out those hollow points very well.....just might not like a ton of lead with out cleaning. .just wondering why the wolf barrel?

THey appear now for me.  Perhaps it was the network I was on earlier today.

Nothing is wrong with the stock barrel. It came with the Lonewolf barrel so I left it in there. The original owner purchased it and never used the stock barrel. His intent was to shoot the lead rounds from Buffalo Bore/Doubletap(he also had a non-captive 21lb spring, but I removed it). He now has a Glock 40. Since I found Defender Ammo I can buy there FMJ bullets for plinking. At .38 cents a round I can have some fun. Take my old brass back for credit and drop the price a few cents.  :D

I didn't forget a picture of the bullets, just have had busy nights. I will get some soon. I think about it at work(no cell phones allowed) and when I am falling asleep.  ???

I dropped off my frame yesterday to get it "tweaked". No more Glock knuckle in the future-- I hope.

Modern technology is kicking my butt. I'm 48, it shouldn't be this hard. The machines will not WIN!  :P

Perhaps it's a Windows security issue. No problems on 2 Linux systems.

I don't do windows if I can avoid it.  The issue was most likely a permission he fixed between when I attempted to view it on my Mac laptop and android phone, and when you hit it.  Especially since his previous post would indicated he found and fixed a permission issue.

And, I too find Google Photos perms a bit hard to figure out.  But, I have my own LAMP stack so I just stick photos there.
