Between both Nevada and So Cal I cannot find this stuff in stock anywhere. Getting told they are 'flying' off the shelves. Bass Pro had LS in stock, but only through  on-line retailers is BD available.  Anyone else having a tough time locating BD?

thanks

They had some on the shelf at the New Sportsman's Warehouse in my area...I have some on hand so I OK for now!
But I probably should have bought it...I see several of the places online are out of stock again.  OUCH!

Blue Dot wasn't very popular several years ago when ALL powders were not available. Blue Dot was one of the first powders that showed back up on the shelves and online. Maybe because of that, people figured out new loads that can use that powder. It is mostly for heavy shotgun loads and handgun loads.

I only load 10mm with blue dot, so 6 lbs is close to 6,000 rounds.  I will run outta primers before I run outta blue dot.

Well, I found 4lbs of AA9 from a local mom&pop and on sale. I enjoy keeping the local shopkeeper in business so I bought all 4 in stock. AA uses a lot of powder but will work great.

Blue Dot is very scarce in my neighborhood, has been for quite some time.  I've been wanting some in my line-up of pistol powders, having run out some time ago.  Recently ran across a guy at a gun show selling some powders out of the trunk of his car, had one sealed cardboard can of Hercules-made Blue Dot.  Date code says 1992.  I opened it up, smelled and looked okay, so I guess I have a pound of it now.   My last Blue Dot that I ran out of circa 2006 was made in the 1970's and it worked fine.

And my wife wonders why I take her with me  to the gun store to buy powder. They have a 1 pound a day limit. So I buy one and she buys one.  Last week I was able to buy 2 pounds of blue dot that way,  leaving 1 pound for somebody else.

2 days ago I ordered 3 lbs. of Blue Dot from Widners. I have been looking for it for a while too.
