Anyone else see the 7.5 Field Pistol from BRNO Defense on The Firearm Blog?

Uses a trimmed and necked down 10mm Magnum case.

I've been reading up on this new gun . I really don't think us in the USA will ever see one legally here . This thing is the meanest pistol I've ever seen.  If it can hurl a 103gr projectile at 2000fps ,image what a 60gr or 80gr would do. I would say 2500+fps  :o. That's approaching 223 velocity .  This pistol will be something that the CIA would use to take out a high priority target from a distance when they can't use a rifle.  I would guess the price to be $3000+ . It has a counter weight to help recoil . Very futuristic looking too .

I'm not sure about the counter weight system, but it would be fun to shoot one beside a Glock 40. See which one had more recoil.

The counter weight seems like another part to break down the line.  Why couldn't someone get a say gock 20 or colt delta elite and put a 7.62 barrel on it and resize some brass to fit the tokarov 7.62 bullet . Didn't they say it's a 10mm "magnum" case necked down to 7.62 mm .  Doesn't sound to difficult to me . Maybe I'll try it one day.

Do we actually have federal laws limiting such things? I don't understand where you are coming from. I know there are import limitations (ie approval) - but .308 handguns ARE legal, so a .295 handgun should be as well.

It's hard to see those bullets and I can't read Chinese.  Are they rifle bullets and are they solid brass.  They look kinda long for 103 grain bullets that's why I'm asking. This round is intriguing.

Google translated it for me.  I snagged this picture showing the bullets.

It makes me want a 9x25 Dillon barrel for my G29.
