Got a confirmation from HPR...they have Starline produce their brass, so

HPR = Starline = GTG

I just got a 100 pack of new Jagemann 10mm brass on sale. I haven't loaded them yet. I have a HUGE backlog of reloaded 10mm I need to shoot through first. It didn't help when I bought 2000 empties from a guy that had access to a police practice range. (Most of it nickel plated)
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

Odd.....bought a bag of brass and only crappy ones were JAG ....kinda blown out at the bottom, maybe smiles. Threw them out..usually good luck with PPU, FED, SIG and A USA so far....only reloaded them a few.times so far,guess we will.see. at least I know which ones to look for trouble with.

Wonder if they were shot in a Glock with an unsupported chamber?

When I get some time, I'm going to sort them by headstamp.  This is a bummer since we bought 2,000 pcs and most is A USA and PPU.

Live and learn...I'm hoping to get a few hundred of good brass.
For what its worth I have 100 pcs of PPU that I have loaded with 175 gr lead so many times that you can hardly read the head stamp. As for the A USA (Armscor) I have been loading the same 200 pcs with mid to full loads with 180 and 200 gr jacketed bullets and they are getting hard to read the head stamp as well, YMMV but they have been good for me. All that said I use Starline brass for full-house and self-defense loads.

JAG brass are good quality brass, if the cases were bulged that badly they were shot from a gun that lacked chamber support and were possibly loaded very hot!

Be careful wit PPU and A-USA as they are known to have quality issues and poor annealing qualities that can lead to bullet setback issues!  ???

Doubt it, I'm using a stock glock 40 and load hot....no brass issues ever

Thats the problem, standard Glocks do NOT have a fully supported chamber...ALL standard Glocks.
