Would you suggest swapping out the stock firing pin spring with the one that comes with the Wolff XP pack?

I have never changed out any of my firing pin springs in anything. My Hunter still has it's original all these years later and I bought it used.


What spring did you pick up? Hopefully a CZ-75 20-22lb to cut down?

The CZ standard Extra Power pack is what I am ordering, I just wondered if I should also use the extra power firing pin spring that comes with the pack.

It might not even be the right length for the GP. If it's not broke I don't fix it!

Well, I got it home today. I am now familiarizing myself with the assembly/ disassembly of the gun. The trigger is amazing, the reset incredibly short. One thing I can report is that the magazines have a black follower and are stamped K10. I will hopefully be able to get to the range Sun. , but I do have a lot of Accounting homework to knockout before then.

So it takes standard EAA K10 magazines? Can you take a picture of the magazine? Hopefully the catch square isn't in the front like the 9mm version.  If that's the case we have a cheap and plentiful source for them.

With some work that trigger can really shine, but good out of the box.

  It looks like the front is the only place the catch could be. It probably wouldn't be too hard to use a standard EAA K10 stripped down matching up the release notch. Start a pilot hole with a drill bit and Dremel the remainder to fit it.

  I have read more than one thread suggesting to remove part #52 to drop the trigger pull 1lb. I'm not so sure I need that but:

Yeah, still here. Sorry, with carrying a full course load and the new job about the only day I have available to go to the range is Sun. and the weather hasn't been that cooperative for those lately. The good news is that Spring Break starts next week and the forecast for this Sun. looks great. I just have to find some time to load up some of my favorite load to test as well. As soon as I have anything to report I will.
