It will be cool to see some of these out there running. My journey will be a long one!

Cool! Black or red follower? Looks similar to the 9mm version, except the grip is a little different.

When you get a chance, please post weights:

Whole gun with factory mag unloaded.
the slide/barrel/RSA
just the slide
just the barrel

I would love to update the specs with this.

The slides are pretty heavy I think. Do you want my 9mm weight?  :P

Pablo

Is that sucker comfy in the hand?

Can I just go to my local FFL and have him order one up?

For the 9mm so we can compare:

- Whole pistol 28.7 oz
- Slide assembled 15.3 oz
- Slide 11.4 oz
- Barrel 3.7 oz
- Frame 10 oz

Looks good I didn't realize it was going to be polymer.

Seems very comfortable in my hand. Very similar to my EAA Witness Polymer Compact, except a larger grip of course. Your local gun seller can get in touch with Eagle Imports and they can let them know which distributors have them. It was also pointed out the KY Guns have them.

The gun will take some getting used to for disassembly. Don't let the take down tabs fool you, it does not takedown like a Glock. It was very awkward for my smaller hands. The re-assembly was the hardest part for me, I managed to put a nice scratch in the slide as I tried. It will take a little to get used to. It also showed me that the finish is not that durable. It may have a date with Mr. Cerakote.

It's funny you mention that! I have one slight scratch in my slide as well from trying to put it back on early on. I'm pretty good at it now! I cut down a CZ-75 10lb spring for mine this morning and it's so much easier to wrack the slide + put it on.

How I do it now is put the barrel all the way out the end of the slide with the channel facing up. Put the frame down into it making sure to keep the barrel all the way forward. Pull down on the take downs, pull the slide back and over the slide rails and drop it into place. After doing it about a dozen times now I'm good! Doesn't cure that one scratch though  :o I will probably do a coating on the slide down the road... maybe Hard Chrome  ;)

Recoil Calibration Paks

CZ75 Standard Models, including Full Size Baby Eagle with 4.4" barrel:

Reduced Power - Pak contains 1 each reduced power recoil springs in 9, 10, 11 and 12 pounds. Three extra power firing pin springs are also included for both EAA and other models. (Stock No. 13120)

Extra Power - Pak contains 1 each extra power recoil springs in 16, 18, 20 and 22 pounds. Three extra power firing pin springs are also included for both EAA and other models. (Stock No 13121)

Performance Pak 9mm - Pak contains 1 each 12 Lb. reduced power recoil spring, 16 Lb. extra power recoil spring, extra power firing pin spring and 17 Lb. reduced power hammer spring.  (Stock No. 14100)

I purchased the reduced power pack for my 9mm and the competition guys are running an 11lb spring. I went with a 10lb and think it will do just fine for me. If you plan on running some Underwood, Buffalo Bore or even Sig Sauer in it, I would get that extra power pack and start with the 20lb.
