Capacity... say what you will, but this is near me

I know many are fine with the 6-10 shot firearms and that's all fine and well. That is until you get 2, 3, 4, 5, etc... people to contend with. More than likely they won't be sitting still like that paper target we practice on and they might possibly throw an arm in the way, be on Heroin, partially behind a barrier or you miss a time or two.
Recently I told The Shadow about an incident here recently where I was in a fairly remote area with my Wife (in the Country) and two cars of 100% shady characters rolled up to me and asked where the WaWa was from behind tinted windows. I got a real bad feeling as I told them you have to head back into town! Each car had four in them... I bet 10 wouldn't have handled that situation and most of the articles I read today involve multiples. This incident involved three!

Normally, the rest of them run after the first round is fired...normally.  That's why it's always better to have more ammo than you need. 8)

There is a reason, as a huge 1911 lover, I don't have any single stack 1911's.  CAPACITY.

When Hoplophobes ask me what I am afraid of, I tell them nothing.  Cause I have 16-17 rounds of 10mm on tap.

Tactical magazine changes are must practice practice practice.

Or carry two double stack 15+ round 10mm handguns....  :o

My plan is to hit them hard and hurt them. If I am outnumbered to the point where I run out of ammo, I will try to pick up one of their weapons and use it on them. If not, then I die.

It is what it is.

Quick 2

In the past month I have had to defend against home invaders. Want a pistol i went for AR 3 30rd Pmags. They became chicken shit when I went after them. haven't had anymore problems after the second time. Guy tried to ambush me he never got off a shot and he left leaking really bad. Made up my mind many years ago anyone point a firearm at me they better be faster on the trigger. But 400 lumens in your face is bright enough to buy you a fraction of a second or it did me. I had a light he didn't, that bought me enough time to put 3 60r VMax's  in him. 911 called everything is over and done with. Come to my house you play by my rules. I carry a handgun only because I can't conceal an AR. Had to end this quickly so I am going to finish. There is way more to a gun fight than magazine capacity. The mindset is the most important part. Teaching yourself to stay in your higher brain no matter the situation. Spare mags, and a second gun is a part of my EDC. If you have trained right mentally prepared. If there is enough BGs you will have to do a mag change eventually. 4 years in the Military and 30 more years of building on top of that has prepared me to face just about any situation i can think of. My family is the most important thing to me there is and there protection is my duty. For the past year I have been teaching my son self defense in many different areas, empty hand ,improvised weapons, knife tactics, and firearms. But if you ask him want his greatest weapon is he will tell you his brain. The last time someone tried a home invasion my son was the first to spot them. And yes I took the fight to them not allowing them to get in my home. Like I said there was 2 of them and 1 ran off and 1 stayed. The one that stayed tried to ambush me and it didn't workout very well for him. Preparation, awareness, and being mentally prepared will go further than how many rounds your mag will hold.
