Be prepared to re-enforce to your anti-2A associates that regardless of how you manipulate the data, homocide has been on the decline since gun laws have become more lax.   

The liberals feel sympathy and the need to do "something!!! " - regardless of whether it will work or not.  This way they have, "done their part and what they could." 


Same story, same problems, same solutions, same results - this is what happens when you address symptoms vs. root causes.
