A Dan Wesson 10mm revolver Power Pack would be the bomb.

gandog56

I have 2 Dan Wessons, a 1911 10mm Razorback, and a 15-2 .357 mag pistol pack with 6 barrels, from 2.5" to 15" That would be AWESOME in a 10mm!

Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

If Dan Wesson made their revolver in 10mm is would be a 'major' coup.  Even if they did a trial-run of 500, they would all sell-out immediately.  Especially, if this could retail below a $1,000 USD.  I would jump-on that list.  Hopefully, CZ may take the hint, and actually 'get-down' with it.

.....It is truly silly for S&W to watch the market for the 610 to reach ionospheric levels without S&W "seeing the 'pot-o'-gold' and not tapping into it's popularity.

How patently absurd!

Couldn't agree more. The clueless clowns at S&W need to wake up. They still make the 629, so how hard would it be to simply machine the cylinders and barrels for 10mm??

Earlier this year I asked the guys at the S&W booth at Dallas Safari Club if there was a chance they would produce another run of 610's. They both just kinda laughed at the notion, saying "that" market segment was too small. I really don't think they had a clue what the 610 used gun market was doing. Hopefully these two guys don't have any pull with what S&W does.

picked up the 610 I discussed in post #43. His $2100 table price was knocked down to $1500 offer. It was the first one I ever seen in person. Lot of money but it was my 'holy grail' gun with unfluted cylinder and 6.5" barrel.

S&W 1006
S&W 610 6.5"

That is a sharp looking revolver.  I like the unfluted look.

My dream gun. But not paying that price. Ever.

Pretty much same here, I WANT one, but no way I am going to pay that much FOR one. :o

My god a 10mm pistol pack with multiple barrel lengths.  :o
I wouldn't be able to contain myself or my wallet!

I'd be happy, if Ruger would take the plunge and make a 'Redhawk' chambered for the 10mm.  It shouldn't be that hard, since they currently market a combo, in .45LC/.45ACP.  Ruger is also, notorious for 'not' listening to their customers either.  The GP-100 would have also made a good candidate as a regular production chambering in 10mm.

I would be all over a 10mm redhawk from the factory.  Or a GP100.

Wolfie

Why not a Ruger 10mm in LCR? The format handles the .357.

I don't think the cylinder walls will still handle the pressure after you take another 20k off the cylinder walls
