You're gonna love it! Congrats. Did you get anything for running full power ammo through it?

Not  yet,  but  im ordering   the  springco  buffer  guide rod  and then the  calibration  pack  and  pretty muxh every spring  wolff  makes  for them.  99%  sure   mine is the new  styleqnd  uses  the short  mainspring   but  i love   wolff springs  as  they are  great quality, priced  right an made in my home  state Pennsylvania.   But i figure  with the sprinco rod/buffer  system an a 22#  wolf spring underwood  and  some  full  power  hand loads  shouldn't   be a problem.  It   does have the "sqaure"  slide  and  not the round  so  shouldn't  have any issues.  Will not  be shooting any  full powers  till  the springs and  rod  come in

For a few years the EAA witness had a "scolloped" or "contoured" slide.  (this picture is not my gun)

One or more batches of this style slide received a bad heat treatment process making them overly brittle.  As a result, they would crack, especially with stout 10mm loads.  At first EAA refused to fix them, then they pulled their heads out and starting replacing them grudgingly, and finally by the end somewhat willingly (for EAA CS standards).

The style slide you have, rounded to a sharp corner and straight sides to the frame rails, never had these issues.  This style slide was continuously used in the Elite EAA guns as well.  It is a beefier slide and more aesthetically pleasing as well IMHO.  It is also the style I have, though my Wonder finish failed me and has been replaced with Cerakote.
