Does anyone else have a 1991 IAI Javalina Hunting Model (7" barrel)?

I have one of these older pieces. While not the pinnacle of the 1911's development, they are still a viable hunting "machine".  ;D The 7" slide/barrel combination tames the quick reciol impulse of the 10mm Auto and provides with an added whack of power on the business end of the pistol.

Any other Javalina owners?

I have one purchased in that time frame. It was stolen and gone for 16 years then recovered and returned to me. It sat in
the evidence room for 8 years before they got around to notifying me. Looked like it was never fired after it was stolen.

I vaguely remember seeing these in gun rags.  If you get a chance could you post a picture?

I know it's an old thread - I was looking for stuff on Armslist here in Ohio, and came across this:

This isn't my gun. And it's a little out of my price range at the moment. Okay, maybe more than a little.
