BEEMER!

Maybe one of the so called "side deals" in the Iran Nuclear Agreement is that the US will start purchasing our enriched uranium from Iran.

Wolfie

We can amp back up at anytime if needed.

Its not like one of our subs cannot destroy the world anyway.

No big deal.

This is being driven by the oil industry that is afraid of nuclear power resurgence.  We have plenty of fissile material in stockpile for our weapons needs.

Wolfie

Nuclear power is the way to go. Make the grid big enough and everyone can drive Teslas.

His religion has nothing to do with it, and neither does he as far as I am concerned. If the US needed the plant open, it would stay open.

My guess is the US has the same plan with their Uranium as they have with their oil. Use up the other countries supply, then when nobody else has anything, the US will control it all.

I think now is the time for solar.  Even without government subsidies it is near cost parity here where I live.  It is the next big improvement for my home.  The only question is if I am going to go off the grid.

I would go geo thermal if you wanted off the grid.

Not an option for a city dweller here in Salt Lake City.  But with Tesla's new home battery system, solar off the grid is doable.

Just a quick note: Everything is solar power.

The sun makes plants grow which is where oil comes from. Sun causes the air to heat up which makes the wind blow which makes windmills turn. Sun evaporates water which is carried by the wind to higher altitudes, and eventually turns into rain which, along with gravity, gives us hydro-electric power. The sun (solar) is powered by nuclear reactions.

It amazes me, when people point the finger at a president.  Current presidents represent a mindset of multiple individuals.    If a president made a decision, that was supported by other members of the government, it could be rejected. We do have checks and balances.  But it doesn't happen, because, many of our leaders are "on board" even when they publically say they aren't.

All Muslims aren't bad. Just as all Jews, diet crucify Jesus.   Please stop grouping people based on the actions of radicals.  There are great tax paying Muslims in this country.

Guys;

I have come to distrust EVERYTHING this idiot president says and does.  It SEEMS to me personally that much of what he has done in the second term seem particularly favorable toward radical Muslim groups.

I have several Muslims that worked for me I consider legitimate friends and they are as loving, family-oriented, God-fearing people as they come.  I would do anything for them.

I 100% mistrust this president and can't wait until he is gone.  I am so sensitized to this clown that when he says or does anything I immediately look at who will benefit from his hidden agenda and ideas.  Does anyone think the Iran deal dis-served everyone BUT Iran and their extremism??

Soooo, my first thought was why was he shutting down the LAST plant and who would benefit from it?

Just my own personal opinions, right or wrong.

The last time I voted for a GOP president. We got 911, Deficits Don't Matter and Elective War.

I don't trust the GOP, I lost money under them and made money under Clinton and got it back under Obama, which among other things allowed me to buy a pretty nice 10mm collection.

Wolfie;

I am a fundamental conservative, whatever that means.  I NOW don't trust either the Dems or GOP.  Our current Republican leaders I think have done at least as much, if not MORE damage to the conservative causes than the Democrats.  One of the worst just resigned.  Now if that fossil McConnell would just leave - talk about good ole boy cronyism?

I think most of D.C. (Rome Empire) is corrupt.  I strongly suspect this is why the "outsiders" are doing so well in the Republican race so far.....?
