Does anyone have a link or know where to go to get a holster for the G40?  I have googled but it never really came up with anything. I need one that will accommodate a rmr sight and it could be either owb or shoulder holster.

I was thinking it would fit into a G20 holster that had an open bottom??? Thanks.

Any of the open bottom G20/21 holsters will work. The only difference with holster fitment is length of the muzzle end. If it accommodates the RMR, it will for the G40 as well.

This past spring, I spoke to reps from Diamond D holsters of Wasilla, Alaska. She said they would convert their guides model to accommodate a reflex sight for an extra $25.00. Since that holster is open bottomed, it will probably fit the G40 too. Just another option for you.

Great, thanks.

I have a G20 longslide (essentially a simplified pre-G40, 6.2" barrel). I bought this low cost holster and it fits great BUT no reflex sight. Looks like someone with skills could modify it without too much pain, if you want to give up the magazine space.

My only gripe for the 10mm application at first was the magazine holder is VERY tight. But after some magazine sex in and out and leaving a magazine full depth for a few weeks, it's actually about perfect.

Thanks Pablo.

Let us know what you decide. I would like something in leather eventually.

Check with Brent at http://www.advancedholster.com/. He was just mentioned in Recoil for ALG's "6 Second Mount" holster. He is in Fayetteville, NC and makes some nice holsters.
