Well since my divorce a few years back I haven't really done any reloading in over 2 years, travel and moves I lost in the shuffle all my 10mm data... I can't recall even my favorite loads. I know I mainly used blue dot with 180g projectiles. Anyone give me a quick pet load? I should've written my own pet loads down in my reloading books butttt I didn't. I don't have access to a chronograph nor the time to develop a good load.

For some reason 11.3 and 10.4 grains of blue dot stick out in my mind but I'm not confident enough to gamble like that.

Thanks for any help in advance.

One of my favorites is blue dot and 180g xtreme plated head is 10.4g
Nice mid warm round very accurate for me

Book max comes in at 11g.

Yeah, my standard load is a Precision Bullets 185 grain moly coated bullet over 8 grains of Blue Dot. My manual says for 180 grains anything from 7.5-10.7 grains. I put in a hand written note that Alliant website max is 11.0 grains
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

ChainLink I have used some heavy loads with Blue Dot and they have worked well from my guns the way they are setup...

You might want to save these two documents for your files

This is a Speer supplement from back in the day

This is the Alliant 2006 data from their PDF

Thanks for the replies, I guess that's why 10.4 was stuck in my head... Not nuclear but warm with great accuracy with 180(mostly Hornady)

I should add I have used aa#7 a lot too, guess my memory was close on that one too. Considering the spread sheet data.

Don't feel bad, my wife >:D threw away 8 years of targets and chrono data.

There is still plenty of good data available via the powder makers website, many with down loadable data, you can have them send you a current book, some are still free for the asking...
Alliant powders load data;

Reloaders Guide Book request;

Hodgdon's site for Hodgdon, IMR and Winchester;

Western Powders for Accurate, Ramshot, Norma;

You can't beat having hard copies when the time come to study side by side comparisons.

There are many old manuals available at this webpage as well...take advantage and download any or all...you never know when you will desire a reference for yourself or a friend.

Older manufactures free pdf files too; many still show pressure values as well.  Newer publication have dropped pressure values and that is sad.  Some don't list the powders as being single base or double base types anymore and that is sad.)
