Looking for information on this video, where APPARENTLY this guy takes a Glock 29 10 mm and with new barrels and mags, it becomes a 45 acp, 45 acp super and 460 Rowland.

1) Is this really possible?
2) If possible, is it advisable?
3) If it is "OK" what else if anything would be needed?

Thanks,

Pat

He would need to change the slide to a G-30 slide for the 45 conversions...with the proper conversion barrels.
however 10mm, 40S&W, 357Sig and 9x2Dillon work with the G-29 slide with the proper conversion barrels.

Keep in mind, this vid and his comments are over a year old, so he may have blown himself up by now.

He "filed" the G29 breach to fit the G30 barrels and case heads. I've done the same on G20 slides years ago. No big deal, at all, if done correctly. The added mass of the G29 slide, vs. the G30 slide, is a benefit with heavier loads, such as .45+P and .45 Super. Everything he did in the vid is possible, and not necessarily illadvised, but his spring selection is less than ideal. He reamed his own KKM .45ACP barrel to .460R, which isn't bad, in itself. His "guess" at a 1/32" headspace was really off the wall (said he didn't have a way to measure small enough). Not sure how he thought that was a good idea. That's over .031", 5X+ what is considered the outer edge. Also, his feeding issues aren't the mag springs. Heavier mag springs are only a band-aid for a different issue that should be properly addressed.
