Sounded interesting but with all the B.S. I can easily take a pass if it ever does come out. Don't quite understand why a company would string you along like that though.

They can still post some impressive videos though.

Disappointed to hear this though I am not surprised, I never heard of them till the p40l showed up in 10mm. Actually I kinda expected this. Vaporware in the US just like the bren ten from vltor.

I agree with some of the others here that were a little concerned when a "rep" of the company got annoyed at our questions when they chose to go silent. That definitely raised some red flags.

Ill look at it if it ever comes out, but they really screwed up their big shot. They had a good bit of chatter going then just failed to back it up.

I just got an email reply back from VLTOR for a query I sent them about their plans for bringing back the Bren 10. Same old, same old. Yeah we're gonna do it, no we are not announcing when yet.

Been waiting for over 2 years now. :-\
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

Well, if you read the Jan. 2015 "update" by Vltor's CEO on the website  - and, yes, you have to read it really close -  it sounds like they want to at least get the "Legacy" model vetted with final engineering mods, built in numbers, and marketed in 2016.

So I'm thinking, if Vltor follows through on that outline, we'd possibly see the first models at the 2016 SHOT (?) ...

Yeah, just thinking out loud ...  ;D

Well as far as me thinking out loud. I think by the time they get the legacy model out it's only going to appeal to people that already have a real Bren and want to have the same thing to shoot

sstewart

For people that don't have a real Bren,. They might as well buy a witness.
Hopefully CZ will see the light and offer a 10 mm by then

How about a 10 mm Accu shadow with a . 40 barrel for the competition shooter.
Now I'm getting greedy I guess

The_Shadow

I am not holding my breath for either the Grand Power or the VLTOR Bren Ten remake...However both would be a nice addition to the herd and to shoot!

BTW - I do pester the VLTOR group on their FaceBook page trying to let them know we are still waiting for deployment.

What is the proposed price on the Veltor?

Well, Tanfoglio's high-end guns, like the Stock & Match pistols, apparently are shootable out of the box without issues, and have held up well to real 10mm pounding, once properly sprung.

The standard 10mm Witnesses, out-of-the-box, are hit-or-miss. That reflects spotty Q.C. and makes them junk in my book.

And then you've got no choice but to deal w/ EAA on warranty & customer service issues, rather than Tanfoglio directly, if you send it back.

It takes a bit to chap me and this one qualifies. I guess as they say, it ends as it begins. The harsh responses set the tone and with deleting of my comment this morning, I'm personally totally out on this one. If it ever shows up, some followers of the brand might buy it, but it gets the negative stamp with proof from me.

They deleted your comment on their facebook or something?

Intercooler

Not one theirs, but the sales guy. Somehow Eagle and the sales guy aren't on the same page on when/if it will show up here.

Odd that they deleted your comment. Not good for business.
