It might be. I need to find one and see how the grip feels. I just had my 1006 out and front to rear feels fat. It keeps the brass in lower orbit when I shoot it as well.

Social Work would be the polite youtube friendly way of saying "Excellent for blowing a large ragged hole clean through an unfriendly individual" Its a excellent defensive round for the one time you hope you never have to face.

Looks like it will be a race now. Durys just called and they got in just a few gt20's. Luckily I ordered in the first few hours after the pre-order went live. They will be shipping mine this afternoon. Will it make it home before vacation?

Problem is nobody local has them yet to try one.

Never ending saga , gt20's are in but Sig sent no extra mags. Those that ordered extra mags have their guns sitting there until you call and tell them to ship the gun and extra mags separate. Durys didn't tell anyone this either. If you ordered an extra mag and dont have your tracking number call them, its likely sitting on a shelf till sig gets the extra mags to durys. They have instructions to hold mine it till the 29th then ship it without the extra mag if its still not in. This way I'll be back in town when it arrives.

Wow, nice!  I never thought about buying a Sig, but after shooting my dad's P229 (40 S&W) this weekend, they do make a sweet gun with a great trigger!

Ive owned several 10mm's over the years.....S&W 1006, Glock 20, Glock 29, Delta Elite. I will say the sig P220 Match Elite is BY FAR THE GREATEST OF THEM ALL. This thing has been beefed up substantially by Sig to withstand a LIFETIME of full power 10mm loads. It is perfect in fit, form and function and it just plain fits my hand better than even my 1911's do. I love the DA/SA firing system.

If you can afford it, GET ONE.  There is no compromise.

I finally had a chance to shoot one last week. It is definitely built well. I'm holding out for the SAO model to finally come out.

The GT20 from Dury's IS SAO unlike the Match Elite two tone which is DA/SA
