ther'e supposed to feature the 10mm in next months loading bench, it will be interesting to see if they load them up to their potential.

I was looking at that the other day, but I read that original article when it came out. ::)  I was already enjoying my S&W1006 for several months... ;D

Could not agree more..  I have the complete series for S&W 10's.. S&W needs to re introduce this calibre again..

The_Shadow

It would be great to see a 10xx series Classic 10mm remake.  If they did, the only thing I like to see changed would be trigger improvements.  ;D

Man, can the word "classic" apply to guns that are barely over 30 years old?? Maybe "classy" is the better adjective; those guns are beautiful. I second that vote for the 1006 and 1076 to come back, too.

Wolfie

Not only do they need to bring these backs the revolvers too.

Tomcat 10

I may be stupid , but why did S&W DC them in the first place ?  (I am fairly new to the 10mm )

sqlbullet

They DC'd the entire line of 3rd gen autos.  Just the march of product development.

And a lot of people wonder why S&W ended the 610 and 310 revolvers.

Personally I think the revolvers coming back makes more sense than the semi autos. I'm not a revolver guy. Don't  own a single one. This is a simple case of volume manufacturing.

I'm guessing they don't get real excited until at least 1000 units a year volume
So us 150 10 mm disciples need to encourage a bunch of our friends to buy 10 mm firearms. I personally consider consider this Sig 10 millimeter to be kind of a bellwether for the state of 10 mm. If they can sell those in kind of volumes especially since they're expensive, it will show the firearm industry the 10 mm is viable.

The_Shadow

Not only did S&W discontinue the 3rd gen guns the no longer produce are stock any replacement parts...:(
It was a good run!  I've pretty much given up on them making the M&P chambered in 10mm as well!  ???

VLTOR responded on a post I made on their Facebook page...I like stirring the pot there!
QuoteMe, I'm hoping to get the VLTOR/FORTIS Bren Ten before the Government is successful in stripping my rights to purchase or ownership! Oil those machines and get to work!

Vltor Thanks Wade for the advice. Don't worry. We are working on the Bren.

QuoteNever imagined we'd have over 1800 members in just 3 years.

Looks like there are at least 1500+ 10mm disciples in the ranks of this board alone, assuming of course that roughly 300 of those registered aren't really interested in the 10mm and registered for some of the other information available on this board such as the Pull Downs of other Calibers  8)

My tapatalk app said 300 followers at the time. That's what I thought I said but perhaps I did not.
Any Way as much as I love 10 mm there's still a lot of people out there that don't know anything about it.
