My "new" Witness came in this afternoon.  Went and picked it up from the FFL, then headed back home to try it out.  Funny thing is, I found a fair deal and bought it without mentioning it to the wife.  Wasn't to sure how she might react, but as it turns out, she seemed excited about it.  ;D
Anyway, it is a Witness polymer with the full size frame and compact slide.  Like the P Carry, but with the blued slide...and it's not the cone barrel.  :(  It looked like it hadn't had but a few rounds through it.  Came set up with wolf recoil and firing pin springs.
The wife and I put about 60 rounds through it this evening.  No problems whatsoever...and I think she likes shooting it as much as I do!  Apparently a 10mm makes for a nice ladies gun too!   :P

Here are some pics.  I'll get more detailed pictures later today.

Also came with the IWB holster, spare mag, mag pouch, and recoil/firing pin spring sets.  Both are the newer K10 mags.

One thing I should mention:
My pistol shoots low, just like every one I've read about.  What is the best source for an adjustable rear sight?

Thanks,
Phillip

Well, EAA seems to want to rip people off on parts ($100 for a sight?) and Brownells doesn't have or doesn't stock the sight for the new style slide with and 11.5mm dovetail.

BUT...I found a few references to an LPA sight for Crosman air guns that fits the new style witness slides.  I did some checking around, and sure enough, it has an 11.5mm dovetail, and people have confirmed that it works.  Only $39.99 on the Crosman website.  http://www.crosman.com/optics/sights/lpa-mim-rear-sight

I just ordered one.  Will let you guys know how it works out.

That's a P carry for sure. What makes you call it "like a p carry?" Is the slide not a p carry slide? Looks like a regular compact witness slide on a p carry frame? That's strange.

Kentuckydiesel

That's the strange part.  It's dimensions are the same as a P-carry, but it has the "blued" slide and a straight barrel rather than a cone fit barrel like the P-carry has.

Trying to post a picture, but the pictures coming directly off my phone are too large.  May have to wait until I get to work tomorrow.

Well it's definitely a P Carry frame. Looks like someone threw a Compact steel model Witness slide and barrel on it. Pretty much all of the Witness parts are interchangeable. Could be a mistake from the factory or the previous owner did it.

I've seen a number of these for sale, brand new.  They usually just call them a polymer compact with 14+1 capacity.  Just strange that it's not in the catalog.

The polymer compact has a 12 round capacity in 10mm, and has a short grip, very different from yours. http://eaacorp.com/portfolio-item/witness-polymer-p-compact/

The full size polymer is longer and different than yours. http://eaacorp.com/portfolio-item/witness-polymer-p-full-size/

Yours is definitely a P Carry frame with the steel model slide on there by accident. http://eaacorp.com/portfolio-item/witness-polymer-p-carry/

And here's the same thing I have:  http://www.americandefenseco.com/Shop/eaa-witness-p/

They are out there.  Just that they are some sort of strange in between model.

Looks to be the old P Carry pre-2010 model according to my buddies 2008 EAA catalog. It's listed as "Witness P". The newer version comes with the cone barrel starting in 2011 and name changed to P carry.

Weren't the forward slide serrations from the last year or two?
