Severtech is returning to knife-making after a lengthy hiatus. Earlier incarnations were marketed by the owner, and designer Aaron Riley for a few years. The T6 aluminum handles were available in a few options like O.D. green back then, and buyers could opt for a 'left-handed' version of the autoknife. These have been reviewed by a number of periodicals including: Soldier of Fortune. The knives have a 'cult-following' among the cognescenti, and the 'Spartan' was featured in the movie of the same-name starring Val Kilmer. These blades are for the serious collector, and not for those who suffer 'sticker shock'! The quality is akin to Grayman folders, but in an automatic. These blades have an extremely strong 'firing-action', and are marketed towards professionals that want both a working-blade, and a defensive weapon capability. These will most-likely appeal to those collectors, and users where the price is a secondary concern.

Those are interesting knives, I never was a fan of serrated edge knives, so I would opt for one without, for the ease of maintaining sharpness.  If they don't shave, they are not sharp enough!  :o

I have a filet knife that has a very hard blade to sharpen but when it is sharp it holds its edge for very long periods of heavy use.  I have Buck folder knock off with 580 stainless which has also held great edge well, I want to take it and turn it into a skinning knife with a fixed handle and scabbard.
