I'm seeing the FMJ prices ranging from $22-$28 a box/50. That would sell pretty darn well if it really hits 1250ish!

I wonder what the coating on the brass is in real world terms?

It sounds like a more refined version of standard nickel plating... I would say it's probably a method of making the nickel more ductile, thus allowing the brass to be loaded hotter and reloaded more over typical nickel plating (which some claim makes brass more brittle).

Here's a link to the company that claims Ducta-Bright 7a is their own proprietary development:

Did this one get tested yet? Nice to see some new options available.

Got a response today from Sig:

The 10mm should begin shipping shortly. We know Cabela's will carry it, but Walmart is not yet on board.

Don't suppose they mentioned the round count per box did they? I'd hate for the 10mm price to be equal to .40 S&W but for a box of 25 instead of 50, ya know? I'm looking at you, PMC Bronze!  :))

Awww only 20?? That's barely a magazine! But I suppose for relatively premium JHPs it's not too far out of line. I just hope 10mm isn't 1.5x as much as the other calibers they already sell. The calibers they have available already are all less than $1 per round, even at Cabela's, so it would be nice if it was close... Fingers crossed!

That's about what I was expecting from Cabela's. I've seen a couple places that have the price closer to $20 for the V-Crown JHPs but I'm sure shipping price will be a major factor in how good the availability is at those price points. Thanks Intercooler.

Sounds great. Good to have another premium option available.
