I'm not getting them at my location. I pretty much get it all online.
Some people think I'm paranoid because I have so many guns. With all my guns, what do I have to be paranoid about?

I'm confused  ??? I know you reload, but read you're purchasing your SD rounds from MFG's.  Where are you getting Long Shot, Power Pistol or other powders and good JHP's on-line? Some of the MFG's aren't even able to do it and resorted to imported powders. I shared a note last night with The Shadow about PBR's abscence of 10mm from the website. They haven't been able to get powder until just this week and will still be 4-6 weeks waiting on brass. Right now I can see this as a struggle finding everything you need easily. Maybe I'm wrong.

Because I'm confused, You always hear about DA's charging you with murder in a self defense situation if you use reloaded bullets. I think it's pretty much an urban myth, that I have never heard anybody successfully prosecuted for it, by why give the flamer libs a reason to cause you astronomical legal fees? So If I shoot somebody in the house with my 10, I'm using common commercial ammo.

My issue is not the concern about being accused of malice with hand loads. My issue is the admissibility of my hand loaded ammo as exemplar rounds if I need them to support my story. There is a court case involving gun shot residue where the defendant was not allowed to admit his ammo to support his defense against a murder charge. He was unable to establish the distance of the shooting because he was unable to submit his ammo as an exemplar to provide lab -reproduced GSR patterns. That was not a SD situation, but the GSR evidence might be critical to establish the proximity of an attacker when you shot them.

With factory ammo, you can acquire exemplar rounds from the mfg.  The lab can reproduce GSR patterns in a lab to support your story. That will be strong evidence that an attacker was where you claimed he was. That court case gave a precedent that I will not be able to submit ammo from my own ammo locker to support my story. For me, the issue has nothing to do with defending myself against a charge of malicious intent, and everything to do with admissibility of evidence for the defence.
