The thing I don't like about that mould design is the slight SWC (semi wad cutter) step, I know it is there for cutting cleaner holes in paper.  For me it is not needed, I would want something that is a smooth transition.

This is not a SWC design at all. The blueprint is somewhat deceiving because it is something like 10,000% scale which makes features a couple thousandths in size seem much bigger then they actually. The step is there to aid sizing and is barely felt with a fingernail after.

You won't find a better WFN/RFN/HP mold for 10mm/40sw then the 190gr version. The 220gr is new but the 190gr is proven.

Well the sizing I do is on the STAR sizer, so that would be a non issue.  I am sure that they would be a good bullet.
For Now I'm good with these 4 I'm casting...

The really nice thing about the GB mold is that it comes with your choice of pins. You can go flat point 220gr, semi dished point 215gr and HP about 205 gr IIRC.

All 3 options from the same mold. I am a big fan of the semi-dish as I have seen first hand what effect it has when hunting.

The short pin is -5gr, the long pin is -10gr. The short pin inspired by the 357sig speer gold dot which is a higher velocity round like the 10mm. The long pin was inspired by the 40sw speer gold dot, which also has the .005" step between the nose and the body.  The meplate is as large as possible and still reliable feeding in a GLOCK. Any bigger and they start binding in the magazine. Everything was carefully thought out specifically for the 10mm/40sw on this boolit.

The short pin is great for hunting, especially in states that mandate the use of hollow point bullets. The long pin was designed to pass the 4-layer denim test as a self defense boolit. Both were designed for maximum boolit integrity during expansion when used with proper alloy.

I want one of these sooo bad.... I dont even cast yet but I have a LBT .44 300gr LFN (LNIB) and plan on getting a nice 190-200gr Mihec, American or Mountain mould in 10mm.

The group buy is still open and taking orders. Get the 190gr to start. All the weight options have their place but if I had to pick one it would be the 190. Very versatile and accurate in both 10mm & 40sw.
