Quick 2

It has been a little while since I have been on this forum, and the last post was that I would post my A#7 reloading and chronograph details. It has been 10 days since I have had major back surgery, facet fusion of S1-L5. I had been running from this surgery for over a year and my back said you are now going to have it. Tell you the truth I was scared to have this surgery because of a lot of people I know who have had back surgery it only made them worse. When I woke up from the surgery my leg and back pain was gone, don't get me wrong the surgery pain was there but it was totally different pain. Now the only pain as far as nerve pain that I have is in my right bottom foot and I am hoping this to will go away. But I am 97% more pain free than I was. I was taking 3 different pain pills just to kind of ease the pain and now I am taking 1 pain pill maybe twice a day. The fusion will take a year to completely fuse together and I will have 2 titanium rods 6 screws and a spacer in there for the rest of my life. Not sure when I will get to do any serious shooting again. Here in Ga. the highs are in the 50s and lows in the 20s and 30s and if I get a chill it goes right to my back and it makes my back fill like a tooth ache so I'm staying in until it gets warm enough outside that it doesn't hurt. We will see if things gets any better as time goes on as far as the cold goes. I was told I could not return to work and just in 10 days the walls are closing in on me. Anyone wanting to keep me in your prayers thank you very much. Anyone else on here had back surgery? How did it go for you?

Good luck with the healing process, hope it continues to heal and work for you.  I sit here with pain in my lower back as I type, aggravated by maintenance on my lawn tractor this evening, sharpening blades and other stuff, then went cut grass at my mom's place...I keep pushing but one day my back will probably go out all together and require surgery as well.  :'(

Welcome back.  Hope your right bottom foot feels better.

How is your top foot doing? ;D

Top of the foot is fine the bottom pain is from the L-5 nerve which is what they worked on that why I hope it will go away?
