Bob was an amazing shot and consummate showman.

Jerry Miculek does things with a 6 shot revolver that are hard to match with a semi-auto too.

Jerry Micelek has beaten most if not all of Bob Munde's speed shooting as well as most of his trick shots as well.

Bob was an awesome shot, and it is a shame we could not see the two of them go head to head. Jerry has mentioned on several occasions that Bob was his inspiration into the Speed Shooting world.

edited to clear up a possible slight against Bob.

Hard to say.  Bob Mundens records were originally tracked by the  Guinness Book of World Records.  But, they dropped all firearm related records in after 1980 in order to get in school libraries.  (Caused reading about a fast draw shooter would turn little snowflakes into gang bangers).  In addition Guinness has said it has lost original documentation on many of his records.

In any event, as a result Jerry and Bobs conflicting records were never certified by a common agency, and in many cases Bob's records are no longer properly documented,  so there is some dispute.  I will say both of them are supreme shooters, and merit all recognition regardless of the others abilities.

Oh...And here he is with one of our "slow semi-autos"

Jerry Miculek actually hits his target too.  ;)

Bob Munden was pretty cool but it was all trick shooting. Jerry does things with a revolver, auto-pistol, shotgun, and AR that are actually somewhat relevant to real world defense. Both use highly customized guns but Jerry can shoot well with a stock M&P and, although he probably shoots hand loads almost exclusively, they are usually full power, not watered down cowboy stuff.
