What are you using to catch your pistol brass?

I have been using the Graco Models <http://www.gracomodels.com/>, wrist-band brass catcher for 5 years and have no major complaints. Truthfully, wearing a brass catcher can be distracting. But crawling around on the range floor looking for "your" brass is a real pain and probably not safe. Occasionally the net will flip around and interfere with my sight-picture, but this is rare and easily fixed with a flip of my wrist. The Graco I use has a nylon net, supported by a wire frame, and attached to an elastic wrist band. Besides being really dirty, the unit has held up extremely well. I know, my grip is poor form- had to hold handgun in one hand and take picture with other  ;D

I use either this:

Or this, free standing on a longer Post, on my TriPod or sitting on the Shelf at the Range:

Hope this helps

Bought a Catch It MK II (Picatinny rail mount) for pistols by Graco off flea bay for $21 TMD.

Went to the range today and it caught everything but one piece of brass (never did find it).

I have two Graco catchers but I don't use them too much anymore. I much prefer something setting beside me either standing or on a table. I just picked up a Caldwell Brass Trap and it's the cats meow!!

Check em out!!!!!

I made 1 using spare parts at home I will add pics and plans cost me $4.58 to build. Works great

I like the idea of the apparatus DenStinett posted.  But for dynamic pistol shooting, even if it is just pivoting, it would miss as much as it caught.

I want to build a brass catching "hut" out of mesh and PVC.  Open on one side.  it would not support moving my feet, but it would support pivots, not be dependent on exactly the right stance in relation to the brass catcher.

I don't like the strap on ones as they impact they way I handle the gun.

Tried posting pic but image was too large. will try to crop it down today. The catcher looks and works amazing. Perfect angle, nice pocket area for brass to stay in and it can be assembled and disassembled in seconds. All fits in a nice bag
Will start working on gen 2 in a couple of weeks.

My usual range has Steel I-Beams across the ceiling. I want to set up a magnet system with a cheap netting that goes from floor to ceiling. Right now my RIA is throwing brass a MILE. Seriously, I have found brass (only one shooting 10mm, and nickel cases) up to 50 feet away after bouncing...

All 10mm guys have been there.

My M1 Garand makes a nice pile about a foot forward and 4 feet right of where I am shooting.  All my tens spread brass across the back 40.

Need to just make a removable brass deflector that knocks it downward as it ejects...

You heard the Mars Rover found some nickel plated 10mm brass a few months ago right?
