The new house has a couple of big hurdles to clear. Mainly just the how high it is to the top where the gutters, etc... are!

It's over 30' to the top which would call for a 24'-28' ladder and I would probably want to install a Ladder Buddy:

or stabilizer (falls of 20' have a 50% fatality rate  :o). The other option would be to purchase this telescoping 24' extension wand and do the siding and gutter cleaning from the ground:

Which looks like the better/safer option?

Sorry to heard... but better safe than sorry!
I'd pick the ladder buddy... with the spray cleaner can you really see what your cleaning from below level.

Or hire a company to clean and install the gutter guards which work by water cohesion ...they work well for my neighbor

That's why I love my ranch. Climb up with a 8 foot ladder from the deck, pull up my backpack blower and walk, blowing the gutters clean!

We had Leaf Guard in and they quoted $2000 to install their setup. I also called a place to clean the gutters and they wanted $850  :o

One fall isn't worth any amount of money IMO  ;)

I have too many trees for gutters, and I use the back pack blower to blow the pine needles and leaves off the roof.  The Squirrels have been cutting the pine cones so their cuttings are all over too.  We just had rain yesterday and today so it will have to dry the roof off before I can blow off.  After that when we get a cool front I'll pressure wash the siding.

Another issue I have is all the stuff that ended up packing in the garage. I told myself if I ever had a garage... it should be used as such with cars in it!

They left a couple of floor racks behind that I am using now and I wondered what's best. Shelving racks, old take-out cabinets, peg board, or just put up a bunch of nails in the 2x4's  ;D Possibly a combination of all of these?

Anyone have organized garage photos to share?
