I just ordered 1000 of these and posted a question on another forum concerning load data with this bullet and had a reply that stated this was a plated bullet and should not be launched in nuclear ranges. I was under the impressions this was a jacketed bullet, hence the J in CMJ. What says ye and has anyone got any max velocities for this pill? Thanks in advance, Jim aka Sybo 

But it could be CMJ means "complete metal jacket" ... and they use a sealed bottom or gas check

I've used a bunch of MG 180's and they were not plated... worked just as well for me as Remington's which were 30% more.
They appear to use closer to a brass jacket as compared to copper ( diff tin levels ), but they shoot the same for me.

You could always take a knife to one of them...plating is much thinner than jacket, you'll know quick enough.

Look at the base and see if it has a crimped in base, if it does its jacketed, if it is smooth and seamless its plated. Plated ones seem to have a little wrinkle across the nose, but not always.

Only testing will tell how they perform...

No bullet weight was mentioned but I'll assume they are 180 gr. (here you actually posted it was MG 200gr)

The one in the picture is a true Jacketed bullet and worthy of pushing them hard.  The CMJ is shorter in overall length and you could load them with the same data as a HP design and the pressures should be slightly lower.
