I do not like the long travel of the trigger and I prefer a 4lb pull.

Has any company nailed down a trigger system for the Gen 4's ?

I've been really considering ordering one of these for mine, but I'm having a hard time justifying $250.00 for a trigger in a 500 dollar weapon, if you do pick one up buds as well as a few others sell and stock them and they are a few bucks cheaper.

Buying, maintaining and upgrading your firearm is the least expensive part.

Training and ammunition is the expensive part ;D

Thanks for the reply

I just got off the phone with Robbie Wheaton of Wheaton Arms and ordered his new drop in trigger (doesn't show on his website) for $109.

This is a Father's Day gift from my son

I received the trigger today and the kit came with the following:

Trigger Housing
Connector
Trigger Return Spring
Trigger with Bar
Bearing Firing Pin Safety
Striker Spring (I used the OEM)

Got it installed, travel/pull is a lot shorter, the pull (smooth) weight is just a hair under 4lbs and reset is approximately half of OEM.

It's amazing how much of a difference there is in feel, and can't wait to get to the range.

Thanks for posting. Sounds promising - looking forward to the range report.

I'm extremely pleased with this set up

Shooting freehand at 10yds I was able to maintain a consistent (5 shots at a time) group of 1.45".  Basically once I shot a clover group all other shots went through the same holes.

Using the OEM system,  In order to get a similar group size, I had to focus on my trigger control and fire roughly one shot per second to maintain 1.5-2" group. Now I shoot roughly twice as fast maintaining a consistent group of less than 1.50".

PS: I also ordered a .22lr conversion kit for the G20 so I can spend more time building muscle memory (trigger control).

Seven months later and I would buy this upgrade again without a second thought.

Thanks I will be looking into it as the trigger on my 20 is nowhere near as good as on my 19.
