Haven't personally done these myself but through a trade I will have them Monday for a test. I only have four of the Buffalo Bore and need one for pull-down. I'm hoping to only use two of those to verify velocity.

  My results varied today versus what David got in the past. This is especially true on the Buffalo Bore! They either made the load better or the old results were skewed.

    David got 1263 FPS average in his G20. I only had four of the 155gr Barnes and wanted to send 1 or 2 down to The Shadow to work up my COP 155's based on the pull-down. I always did like how the all copper HP's perform and this is now #1 IMO!

EAA Limited Pro 1440, 1451. Average = 1445.5 FPS/ 719 LBS  Yea!!!... I want this load and it's still pretty pleasant to shoot! Almost 200 FPS/ and 200 LBS versus old data. Should I send one to Raggedyman or bypass it?

   David got 1010 FPS for CCI Blazer 200gr FMJ in his G20.
EAA Limited Pro 1065, 1066, 1074, 1068. Average = 1068.25 FPS/ 507 LBS

Let's find out what is inside, and then we can duplicate them for other testing.    Probably one of the best things we can do is to imitate what is know to work as advertised...then your COP rounds can be bumped up to match! 

I will take a couple of pictures of these here in a minute. Since my bullet is smaller could we up it a little    I hope you can ID it and it's pretty darn good where it is. Shame I don't have more for gel! Would you rather have both or just one?

Yea, I understand.  However, the Barnes Bullet is available to be handloaded and if the powder is what i suspect it to be it could be easily duplicated.  If you want I can put them back together and send them back to you with the COP when finished.

~1450 isn't that difficult with the Barnes 155. I load my hunting round to 1500 (5.2" LWD, G20), and they scoot past 1600 in the 6.5" Ruger Blackhawk. This round at this velocity bisects coyotes and DRT's big hogs easily. They expand very well and retain mass at high velocities (2000+ in my tests), but might as well be flat points much below 1300.

 Yea... I don't understand the old data. I always thought it seemed off but did so many today I know it's right.

Did American Eagle 180gr FMJ with these and a slew of 9mm in the other section.

AE 180gr FMJ Limited Pro 4.75" 1073, 1072, 1073, 1071, 1080. Average = 1073.8 FPS/ 461 LBS

The Blazer is Berdan primer BTW.

While I have seen some of the newer CCI Blazer aluminum 9mm, 40S&W and 45Acp with boxer primed cases this has not been the case with the 10mm aluminum cases!

Did anyone find out what powder was used used and COAL etc with these??? Want to duplicate and test. Thanks!
