Not many and I see the price even exceeds Underwood now. The 10mm is pricing itself out of what most of us can afford to shoot in any quantity.  I have mainly been a .22 and 9mm shooter for my bulk practice. It seems reload or shoot .22 now.

Well I guess I won't be buying from them. $30 / box is just too much to pay for plinking/range ammo.

Remington was on sale today for $23.99 and its about the strongest bang for the buck. Sold out though!

They have the Premium line which is about like Remington and Armscor (1150-1170 FPS) $27.90/box.

The PPU for $19.95/box at SG Ammo is probably selling like hot cakes!  :o

It looks like PPU is the new range ammo choice in 10mm. I know you got them to increase the speed once, but another increase would be nice.

Some could have the attitude that you may as well shoot .40S&W if you are going to shoot PPU, but at least with PPU you can use your 10mm platform (my Glock 22 has a completely different feel from my 20), and you won't have to go out and buy a .40 conversion barrel for your 20.

Picked up couple boxes of 50 rounds for $26.60 each couple weeks ago...
13% price increase in less than a month a bit hard to swallow.  :(
Was looking for some full power 200 grain XTP at same time and while PBR wasn't able to accommodate me they were professional, proactive and Anthony Mowery explained "out of stock" was due to back ordered bulk order of Starline brass.

Still 13% in one bite!  :o

Here is my question. IMO they are teetering very close to what most people will pay for some 10mm to practice with that don't reload. The way I see it even if it just stays priced where it's at, people will shoot less of it. Does that not hurt their pockets as well?

This next order through my Brother will help me decide what to do about it. If we get nothing ordered, I will for sure be putting a full order of RCBS reloading equipment through him after the move.

Yes, maybe. The market itself could persuade them to bring their prices down, especially when Obama leaves office and the ammo madness ends. Why do we see the run on PPU, which isn't even close to full power? I just checked SG ammo and they are completely out of PPU 10mm from what they had last night. And there are 26 units of Remington left at $32.95 / box. Hmm...

I do think some of the manufacturers have been taking advantage of the situation.

Don't doubt that component prices are up which accounts for some of the increases.  However, a lot of "monkey see, monkey do" going on as well.

I think the firearm, ammo, component manufactures have just had the most lucrative 18 months in the history of the Industry.  Evidently making piles of cash is fun.  However, at some point the slot machine stops paying (as it always does).

Big picture: Ammo manufactures are intent on making as much $$ as possible on each transaction but caution, the Free Enterprise system cuts both ways.  That supply and demand process also makes room for new players to enter the scene (domestic or international).

Near term:  Ammunition prices suck >:( and when I get tired of being accosted by these jokers I can do something about it.  After all the primer, powder, case, projectile manufactures would appreciate my business and never take me for granted, right?!? :))

I think you are right, because stores in general send employees out to comparison shop to see what price to offer products. In this case demand has made it to where one place increases the price and it's a ripple effect. Eventually though you will have some of the hoarders with huge stocks that won't be buying when the madness slows some. That's when we will see these guys backing down on prices or will be sweating on their end a little bit! Most of the 10mm ammo has gone up 20% and you can now purchase .44 Magnum for the same price. My opinion is 10mm range ammo should still be in the $21-$25 range and part of why I haven't been buying anything that is priced higher than that (with the exception of testing ammo).
