I have some 165 GR. JHP Zero bullets , and I can't find any load data for that bullet .  There is  load data for 165 GR. Gold Dots , will that give me the same results , with the 165 GR.  Zero Bullets ? (FPS , PSI )

I have interchanged for several bullets by weight, if the loading was not at the upper most pressures.
You could use data for heavier bullets where no data exist for the lighter.  Depending on the powder type and charge weight it could be safe enough to substitute directly.  I would probably use data for same weight Hornady XTP over the Gold Dot.

Just keep in mind typically a JHP is slightly longer than a FMJ of the same weight.  All copper projectiles are longer for given weights than the lead core of the same weights, because copper is lighter.

If I knew what powder and charge weights you were wanting to load I could maybe say, yes or no definitely!

Upper end charge , but not Max . The pistol powders  I have are  Blue-Dot , A#9 , A#7, Unique , solo 1000, and power Pistol .    I'm thinking Blue-Dot , A#9 , and Power Pistol would be the ones that would work for where I want to go .

What would you say on powder and charge for the 165 GR. JHP Zero Bullet ?

CorBon 165gr JHP Speer Gold Dot was using Power Pistol 8.4 grains @ 1250fps, that should work well...

Parabellum Research PBR 165gr FMJ was using Power Pistol Weight: 10.0 grains @ 1340fps, as a comparison was a Speer #14 book load @ 1314 fps.  I recorded 1390fps from the 5" S&W1006

Blue Dot would be another good choice at 11.5 to 12.2 grains

Data for the Unique @ 7.7 grains showed 1100fps

I'll send you some stuff in a PM to read through...

Shadow , Thank you for all the help , and information .  would there be any problem using the powder measure on the Dillon 650 , with near max loads , and these powders ?
