I have been subscribed for a couple of years now and wondered for a bit where he got off to. He recently posted a video explaining how sick he was:

We ate breakfast at the same table as Jeff at SHOT a few days.  He looked fine as frog's hair to me.  He and his brother are good folk. 

Yes. I watched the video yesterday.  Sounds like he was in serious condition for a good while there.  I wish him all the best and a continued recovery.

Wow.  ARDS is serious stuff.  I have taken care of my share of people with this and people often die from this.  You have a hard time getting your body the oxygen it needs.

I am glad he is recovering as he has a long road ahead.

It was what killed my dad, after he went through an operation to replace an Aortic Stent near his kidneys, operation went well but ARDS set in and took him down.  :'(

Yup that's wwhat happens a lot.  Post op gets you.   Surgery went great but ards seals the deal.
