I don't have alot of experience with lights but it looks like a pretty well made unit, highlights being commonly available AAA and the fact that its o-ringed everywhere. The holster/pouch is a nice touch too. It also doesn't look to be overly bulky for how much light it puts off and it's got great reviews! Even if it doesn't work out or you don't like it, amazon is pretty good with returns.

The only issue you might have is in the pics of the light, the one where its mounted on the AR, it says it takes a 30mm ring and your link is to a 1" ring. The ring you picked out looks neat though, if the cam locking action works well. I didn't look into it too much, maybe the light actually takes 1", I'd check it out before I ordered.

Looks like a nice set up for ~$80, let us know how it works out!

You got me looking at this.  On Vizeri's facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/vizeribrands , I found a discount code to get $10 off the light.  The code is 4I99L2QY.  I tried the code and it worked.  Hope you see this before you order.

I'm tore between this bracket with a light or a vertical grip with light and laser all built in. The light might get chopped underneath. If I do the side mount with light that might not be the case. If the all in one craps out you are faced with a new unit.

Did you see that Amazon also lists the Vizeri tail-cap pressure switch with a coiled cord for only $10?  Also, BT8850 is correct in that this light needs a 30mm mount (it will be just a little loose fitting and needs a layer of protective spacing (e.g. electrical tape) to allow it to get tight).

After about a full day of research and mulling over what I want this to be... different plan! I decided against the all-in-one vertical grip and somewhat my choices in the light.

I went with the same 1" offset mount, but off of E-Bay instead:

This is the vertical grip I chose off of Amazon with pressure switch compartments and a little storage for batteries. I think this is a better option than Velcro or tape, plus it looks like a decent unit:

As for the light I wanted something with the Cree LED (key to a good light) and the 18650 batteries. Nothing too big or expensive with good Lumens rating and the ability to recharge. It also had to have a memory feature, strobe, rear push-button and pressure switch capable. After searching, reading and searching again, I'm trying this one off E-Bay (also on Amazon):

Pressure switch to fit the light:

$45.82 to my door shipped for everything. The light has a glass lens and all aluminum body which are good standard features in a light. When I checked out the light reviews on Amazon it was a mixed bag where expectations or use maybe wasn't up to snuff. If the light breaks, it's probably a throw away, which I'm okay with.

This person has the grip using one side for a green laser. If this pans out with the light I will slap a green laser on the other side later.

Great light comparison for the 502B. The strobe looks nasty!

The mount arrived today and I'm impressed with the purchase. High quality, good heft and when fastened it is rock solid! It ships with a Torx wrench for the ring screws in a decent box.

One piece at a time I guess. Today the grip showed up and I'm really impressed! It has an o-ring setup on the inner tube for dry storage and all you have to do is screw the inner piece in for rail tightening. If you move it up on the rail a little, interference isn't a problem with the 30 round magazine. The plastic is solid as anything I have seen and the grip has a good feel in the hand. No movement when tightened! Can't wait to get the light and pressure switches mounted.

I just received my first tactical light in the mail today, an Ultrafire WF-502B with CREE XM-L T6 LED. I'm really digging it! Light, charger and two rechargeable 3.7v 18560 batteries as a package deal. The functions are high (blinding), medium, low, strobe and SOS.  Just have to strip off the clip and see how it fits in my light holder now.
