How new or old was the Corbon 165 grain ammo you tested on the sheet? You got 1302 out of your 4.75" barrel, and David got only 1200 out of his 4.6".

I have been after Corbon for a while to increase the speed on this load, and am wondering if they actually did it, or if it's a fluke.

As much as I love David's videos, he uses a stock Glock down to the 17lb spring and the results IMO show the unlocking effect. It's hard telling if they gave his Glock fits and from my recent Cor-Bon old stuff they loaded better back then than today. The results and pull-downs both show it.

When I post results, it's hammer fired with the spring setup to match any load being fired (although the spring test I performed said in hammer fired it doesn't matter). Call me biased, but I trust the data I get a little more with how the test are ran and ran and ran again.

Tim Sundles does explain on his website we need to use a stiffer RSA in order to get more consistent velocities. Perhaps that's the problem?

Was your 165 grain Corbon the older or newer stuff?

It's the newer stuff. I will get another box at some point and test them again in both lengths.
