I just received an order from underwood ammo 380 90 gr GDHP and when I turned it over I was shocked to Not see starli e or their name on it.  But said top brass and I am like  . 


What is the quality if anyone has used their brass before?

It seems fine. If you look on the latest .357 Buffalo Bore test I posted, the picture shows Top Brass.

   Does anyone know of a brass MFG to stay away from?

I've still got quite a bit of .45 Colt Top Brass, and it seems to do just fine. 

On the other hand, I used to have a good bit of 10mm Top Brass and it was very brittle, it would crack very easily even from normal loads.  It was likely a bad batch, but that's my experience.

Although the brass may not be bad, Winchester Brass will tarnish quicker than any other.
Federal Brass in 10mm has been brittle and have seen many first factory firings split.
For a while PPU had some brass that was cracking and splitting in odd ways...
A USA is Armcor and they had some runs that were questionable with blown cases...

Star Line has been on the softer side because it is produced as a handloaders brass to not work harden as fast.
A newer Brass on the market I recently tested was JAG (JAGEMANN Tech) http://jagemanntech.com/ this was being used by the some companies and testing I did with several heavy max loads showed good results.  I wish they would make it a component product to reloaders.
Top Brass is good but pricey lately.
