JOHNP

Hi John from Colorado. Just picked up my 4th 10mm a RIA1. Haven't shot it yet bad weather at the range. I also have a Bren 10 special forces model, a S&W 1006 and an AMT Javelina longslide. All were purchased new.

Welcome to the forum JOHNP!  No doubt a very nice collection of 10s you have.  What is the barrel length on a AMT Javelina longslide?
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

The AMT longslide has a 7 in barrel

MCQUADE

Welcome JOHNP, I've been looking for a Javelina for years locally. None to be found here in N.C. I liked the article Bart Skelton did on 10mm's where he doted on it, want one bad!

I thought so.  That feature alone puts it in a class by itself.  AFAIK anyway.

I've never tried searching one out myself, but from MCQUADE mentioning there doesn't seem to be any to be found in NC, it makes me wonder how many Javelinas AMT ever produced in total.

No doubt a very intriguing 10mm firearms.  If possible, posting some pics of it over in the 10mm Semi-Auto handguns subforum would be great.

Thanks for the info, and take care. 8)

JMc, welcome to our little world of 10mm!  Congrats with the Colt DE! 8)  Just understand the limitations that comes with less chamber support and high performance ammo.

Best regards! :D

Hey Folks! I am a newbie here from Massachusetts and an older fart  ;D I have six high end 1911's in 45ACP and 9mm but have a Wilson Combat CQB in 10mm on the way! I have two Dillon 550B's that are constantly on the go and searching here for some tips before loading anything for the new WC 10mm.

Looking forward to learning and sharing.

Welcome herdbull.

Hopefully you will find what you need in the 10mm Ammo sections of the site.  One great resource here is all the data about factory ammo pull downs.

Looking forward to hearing how you like your CQB!

Herdbull, Welcome to the forum!  The 10mm does beg to be handloaded and tailored to your guns' specific needs!  The 1911 styles have chambers that may or may not have adequate support for the highest performance rounds, so keep that in mind.
Best regards!  :D
