I love the new darker colored case!

I think the Walnut grips work on this one. Felt great in the hand like all Tanfoglios. I was hoping the trigger would be much better than the 1006 and it is! I will do some pulls on it when I grab it 7/12.

It has the flat K10 mag. I do believe they are Mecgar because no marking on the bottom. The other K10 magazines with a slant bottom would/should say Tanfoglio.

Lovely gun.  Especially love the squared trigger guard.  Old School!

    Something about those Tangfoglio pieces I just love! This one may move up to the favorite over the Match  based on what I saw and felt. I plan on doing some tests of triggers and bet the SA on this one is where the Match is now after all the use in SA. It's about 2-3lbs SA where it took some time for the Match to settle there. Supposedly this one has a straight cut barrel too, so another test is to do velocity of Underwood 1300 with both to see how much they vary. I want to put a light in both and try to decipher the difference while taking some pictures (although you could have a Polygonal in this one).
    Other than the 1006 being what it is this one may kind of obsolete it to not much use! 

   Just ordered a flat bottom, cone rod and 20lb spring from Henning. What do you guys think about putting some water or oil Poly on those Walnut panels?

   Received a Dawson Fiber front for this one today. Can't wait to fit it up with all this stuff.

Shot the 1006 today and although the trigger is pretty nasty it is just one of those you can't let go of

10 more days. Any thoughts on applying Poly to the grips? Good or bad?

Can you get rubber grips for that.Save the Walnut ones in case you sell.

I don't recall any rubber pieces.

Rubber grips lick on the steel.
