Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

10MMGary

Hello everyone Gary in FL here, & obviously I am a 10MM Auto cartridge fan. I am working on becoming an old fart and have been with the lovely wife for over 30 years. We are the proud parents of an adult son who made Sgt in the USMC and I have a beautiful adult daughter from a previous marriage(no grand children yet, but I keep hoping one day soon). We are settling for two Airedale Terrier/ist for the time being and two cats that do nothing but rule the house sleep eat & ,,,,well you know ;D. Over the years I have owned pretty much everything(hand gun)ever factory chambered for the 10MM Auto cartridge, up until about the time Kimber jumped in the water with their offering. My present stable of 10MM guns consists of a S&W 610 Classic a Ruger "Buckeye" Blackhawk Conversion and 2 Glocks, one a model 20 the other a model 29. I hand load so ammo is not an issue and way back in the day before the insanity set in I bought 10MM ammo & components cheap and stacked them deep. So there you go, hello to all and now I'll go read some post.
Married to my best friend who is a true life saving hero, and father to two amazing adult children.

I just wanted to say G'Day! I recently purchased my first 10mm, a Glock G20SF. Like most folks here, my only disappointment is that I didn't get into 10mm sooner!

I'm a reloader, so ammo cost was never a factor, but oh we'll better late than never. I've "lurked" a bit here before signing up, and recognize a few folks from other sites. Even so, I think I'll stay as long as you'll have me! LOL!

I look forward to learning and sharing about our common interest in an interesting small slice of the firearms world.

Cheers!

Hello all. My name is Cecil.  I'm an old guy, been shooting since about 1953.  Spent '60-'62 as IG inspector and small arms repairman with the 3rd Inf Div, so I've swapped a lot of 1911 parts.  Started reloading 8 mm Mauser (cut down K98) on the old C&H single stage press in '57 or so.  Not really sure what I want to be when I grow up, but while waiting for that to happen I've been a phone company bill collector, professional firefighter, Arson investigator (LE) commercial pilot, licensed private investigator, technical writer, and college instructor/program director.  I also had a few side jobs but can't remember too many of those.  I've gone from feast to famine and back on firearms, and now with the exception of 2 S&Ws (a mod. 19 & 60) everything is 1911.  I'm new to 10 mm, something about the Cooper mystic  made me keep things at arms length.  Maybe I remember the .22 CFJ, and .357/44 (early attempt at a .357 Sig) and wanted to be sure it would be a keeper.  So now I'm hustling up 10 mm brass and have ordered a Storm Lake barrel in .40 S&W to put in my new Kimber Stainless Target II 10.  Anyway, hello to all, so little time, so much yet to do.

Hello all, I was surprised to find an entire community dedicated to the 10mm. I've been a fan for years just recieved a G20 over the holidays and love it!! it has become my favorite carry piece and reloading for it is a blast. It has truGlo tritium n.s., Rocket 3.5lb trigger, extended slide release, and an EFK SS Barrel w/ a base plug.
