Winchester 175gr  SilverTip JHP  1229 fps / 1142 fps

What's the two different numbers? I got 1210.

you sent two, the lower number happened to be the one I put back together, could be an off reading on the lower one.

I hate when stuff like that happens, leaving a question that will never have a specific answer.  Would make me wish I pulled the other too, and, I'ld probably loose a couple nights sleep over it. :D
Gun Control?  Oh yes, the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself & your family.  Makes perfect sense.

Possibly the disassembled/reassembled round had less neck tension/friction, resulting in slightly lower pressure.
