Hi All!!.....Glad To Be Here!....I'm A 55 Y.O. Married Female, Who HAS Been Packing A 10 Mike Mike Since '97.....
I'm A 1911 Gal At Heart ( Still Have My Original Delta Elite Gold Cup!) But She Has Been Retired For OVER 20 Years Now!! (SITTING IN THE SAFE WITH 5 BOXES OF Old Black Talons!)
Carry a Kimber Eclipse II When Open Carrying, And My Gaston 29 When Being Discreet!.....

Can't Believe I Haven't Found This Wonderful Site Until I Saw It Mentioned Over At "1911 Lovers" Forum.....

Question To Mods, Or Administrators... How Does One Donate To The Site, To Become A Contributing Member??....

Yeah, I Always New That The 'Infamous Super (Overkill) Deadly Winchester "Rangers", That Just Had Some Black Polymer Paint On Them Were Just A Pug (FBI) Loaded 10 Mike-Mike Round. Albeit, With Some Very Sharp Petals, That Were Oh Soo COOL When Fired Into A H2O Bullet Trap. Or Even Better, Firing One Into A Nice Inground Concrete Pool (Without ANY Swimmers 🏊‍♀️  Inside Of Course!) As They Open Up Perfectly! So Sharp, You Can Barely Handle One Without Getting Poked Or Scratched Until You Wind Up Leaking Some People Oil! LOL! 😆

Yes, Back In The 1990's I Mainly Carried "Norma" 170 Grain Hollowpoints That Had A VERY Respectful 1300FT/Sec With A FPE Of 635!....And Then Later When I Switched From My Colt Gold Cup 10mm, (As We All Know, That The Colt 1911's  Dont Use A Supported Barrel NO Matter The Caliber!.)  So I Retired My Gorgeous Delta Cold Cup" And Purchased A Mint Smith&Wesson Model 1006  (I Was Really Looking For A FBI Mod 1076) But Those Gen3 Smith&Wesson Auto's, Especially That 1006! That Thing Was Built Like The Freaking Iowa Class Battleships!!  LOL.. That's When I Moved To Some VERY HOT 135GR. Corbon JHP'S That Screamed At 1450 And Were Advertised With A (Crazy For 28 Years Ago 720 FPE!😳!!....

As Of About 2015, I Have Been Using (Kevin's) Special Blends Of All The 10mm "Underwood" Ammo! As He Makes A 10mm Round For Every Situation! From Their "Lehigh" Solid Copper (Extreme Defense, Extreme Hunter, And The STOP ANYTHING Round, The Extreme Penetrator Fluted Rounds!)......I Personally Like Underwood Above All Of The Other "Boutique 10mm" Su h As "Double Tap" And "Buffalo-Bore", Because Of The Top Shelf Component's That Underwood Uses!....Ie. All "Starline" Brass! (Nickel Coated Ta Boot!) And As I Said! The Top Shelf Projectile Component's From Lehigh, Nosler, Amongst Others!.....

I have Tried Them All But Kevin And His Peeps (Family Really) From Underwood Have It Really Figured Out!....As You Can Go From 100 Grain Screamers Going 1825 FPS!! At Over 775 FPE To Just About EVERY JHP Or XTP From 135 Grains To 180 Grains! And For Dispatching ANYTHING ON 4 LEGS And Even A 2500lb Great White Shark! If It Decided To Eat Your Boat Underwood Has You Covered With Some 200-220 Grain "Lipstick Red" 💄 Or Thier "Black 🍒" LUBRICATED Hard Cast Rounds!!!....
BELIEVE ME!...Those Things Thump The Crap Out Of My Husband's Hands!.....He Winds Up Asking (Crying 😆!) For His His (9mm Glock 19 Back, When I Make Him Pump Off A Handful Of Those TREE Choppers!......

Even I Dont Beat Up My Kimber's With Those, As I Send Them With My Gen 2 Glock 20 With The KKM Barrel In Her!......

Well Great Peeps, Enough Of My Freaking "Book" That I Wrote!.....Jeez!....I PROMISE NEVER TO Be Like A Cackling HEN In Future Posts!......Got Carried Away Here! As There Are NOT Many 10 Mike-Mike Carrying (And SHOOTIN') Ladies Out There!...Especially Not 110 lb Ones Anyways!!....

-Best Regards, Tracey Reilly!

Good Day, I'm a new, old guy in that I folllowed this forum back in the day without ever registering and glad to see it's re-emergence.  By way of introduction, I'm an old retired military veteran from the Vietnam era and have been carrying and shooting 10mm since Glock introduced their model 20.  Mainly used for bear and cougar defense here in northwest Wyoming.  I'm in the process of acquiring and outfitting a Ruger LC Carbine in 10mm and interested in other member's views and modifications.

Regards,
Ernst
