I acquired a new M&P 10mm a few weeks ago and was looking at red dot options for it. I?m just wondering if anyone has experience with the SCS MP2 on these yet?  Debating between this and a 507C.  I like the idea of the direct mount without adapter, but Holosun doesn?t have any info regarding using it on the 10mm.

I have one and have been evaluating it for work purposes. So far it has been solid. Mounting is easy and secure, I like direct mounting rather than adapter plates. The green is taking some getting used to. I don't care for the power button. It is small, indistinct and difficult to operate. I also and not that found of the auto adjust, but normal use that is likely not that big of an issue. Overall, I like it so far.

BTW... I have been resisting picking up the MP10 due to the reports of feeding/magazine issues... but now I have this SCS that does not have a permanent home....

Thanks. I?ve only got about 200 rounds thru it at the moment but haven?t had any functional issues. But the factory fixed sights are way off- about 4? low and 4? left at 15 yards. The debate is do I switch them out to adjustable sights or go to a red dot.

To update.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on it, installed and did a quick sight adjustment based on the irons.  I was able to get to the range with it this weekend and I?m pretty happy so far.  Only put 100 rounds thru it, a mix of Blazer factory (50rnds), cast midrange hand loads (20rnds) and 200 XTP hand loads (30rnds). But was able to keep them all on the paper and the sight didn?t fall off.

The only feed issue I had was the slide locked back after 9 rounds, and I felt something hit my forehead, I assumed the spent case and I had miscounted, but it turned out to be a live round rolled off my hat and thunked down on the bench between my arms.  I was firing using a range bag as a rest off a bench and the butt had hit the bench a few times while I was firing that magazine full so maybe the mag hit on recoil and caused the last round to flip out somehow?  No dropped mags, or ftf?s.
