Trigger fixed on RIA FS was over 6#. Fixed with a match sear spring now 2 3/4 to 3#. On my Lyman gauge. Now just oversized firing pin stop, and 22# recoil spring and should be set.

That?s a nice weight for range work or other, but for carry it would make me a little nervous

Wyocaddis

use a different pistol for carry.

After all the changes I made to my RIA to make it reliable the trigger pull is 6lbs.
You reduced the 6lb trigger pull to 3lbs just by changing the sear spring?
May I ask what sear spring you installed?

Thanks for the tip.  Did you need to do any adjusting of the spring?
