A hunting JHP is a reasonable compromise

Both XTreme Penetrators and hardcast would make you much safer

My hog load is 180XTPs and 180 cast/powder coated.   They both do the trick.

Mostly we use 200gr and 220gr Hardcast at 22 BHN in 10mm for Bear Defense in Alaska.
My G20 has been upgraded with a excellent KKM barrel and 22 pound recoil spring.

Thinking if the 200gr XTP isn't enough for hogs, you need a bigger caliper   :)

There is a new Canadian Feral Super Pig coming to the U.S. in the northern states in the near future. These pigs are supposed to be bad news. Here is a link about this new invasive pig.
