Rifles / Re: Mosin Nagant owners Sporterizing or info

I was planning on getting the RS set, Mount and Bolt at the same time. Just to many other guns and projects have kept me from doing it.
I guess I was going to see what it would do, with the regular sights first. If it would ever warm up again, I will have to take it out.

I went this way with the stock, I got mine for about $149. http://www.archangelmanufacturing.com/new-products-2013/

I also got the set trigger. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/559350/timney-trigger-mosin-nagant-1-1-2-to-4-lb-steel-matte?cm_vc=ProductFinding

I have yet to bend the bolt or add a scope mount, but was leaning toward Rock solid.

I just had a light shinning into the reciever, I had to ajust it so it wasn't to bright. And had my cell phone up to the muzzle.
I think it took a few shots.
On the full picture, l had a light behind the camera, that had to move with the camera. I also had to make sure that
the camera stayed the same distance away from the gun,  as I moved it from one end of the gun to the other.
I tried it since, and I couldn't get it to work right again. I ended up with to many shadows.

Here is a Micro and Macro of my Marlin 1881 45-70 made in 1882. The full sized was a composite picture, I took 4 pictures, and combined
them with Photoshop, to make one big one. Used my cell phone for the Micro and my Nikon D70 for the macro.

I know that they wont fit a Hunter. I got a set of Green, but I didn't return them, because I plan on buying a Match.

Amazing accuracy.....at 1 meter  !  :o

And believe it or not, the .460 S&W has even more Power then that   8)

The other nice thing about the 460. You can shoot .454 and 45 Lc out of the same gun.
Shoots a little cheaper that way.

I was going to post my answer to my e-mail, but I see you got the exact same answer that I just got. Word for word. Copy and paste I guess.

I guess a timely answer is at lest something. ::)

The Bullseye is a small frame.

How can you tell? It is only 2 oz lighter than the Hunter. I assume, because of the slots machined out of the top of the slide.

E-mail sent. See what happens. And yes I asked about the Extreme line. Also asked if they are planing on carrying more than just the 6 models shown.

10mm semi-auto handguns / Re: A Thread for Intercooler

Pick up some parts, for a EAA Witness 460 Rowland project. I originally picked up the Long slide, then I got the 6" barrel from the same guy on Gunbroker.
Then while looking a Numrich I noticed that they had a compensated 45acp barrel with the 2 slotted comp. They also have a 3 slotted comp.

I was hoping that the comped barrel would fit the long slide, but it is set up for a 4.5 barreled slide, not the 4.75. So that means that I ether
have to have the 6" barrel threaded for the long slide, or just pick up a regular full sized Witness, or both.

Will have to save up some more money for what I have to do next. Will probably see how it works with reg. 45acp first, then ether try 45 Super,
and then, have it reamed out to 460.

Got rid of my G20 a year or so ago. Bought a Witness Hunter, now I am waiting for the Stock III's to get here. Might have to get a Match while I wait.
