Just an FYI on VV - the business may be sold[do a Google if you're in disbelief]. Their military portion of the business[main source of income] is not doing too well so they are looking to sell off perhaps the portion we all[or many of us] enjoy. :o
Keep checking other forums for potential updates.

I'm not surprised about Starline and 10mm brass availability. Has any recently watched the amount of 10mm ammo that Underwood has produced in the last 5-6 weeks. At least 30k rounds & perhaps a bit more. ;D

I ordered 1K 10mm brass from Starline approximately 2-3 weeks ago. I just received shipping notice from them. As I recall this item was not be in stock until the end of April..

My experience on Starline back orders is that they generally beat their target date - its a nice surprise!!

I suspect the .30 Carbine is the remainder of a production run.  Several available, but no recent tooling.  It wouldn't surprise me if they're discontinued soon.  I traded off an AMT .30 Carbine years ago.  One of the few REALLY stupid things I've done in my life.

Before Ruger will produce a model, there has to be a reasonable market for them.  If they're watching and seeing what I see, they won't do it for the 10mm.  It would take a Distributor Exclusive run, like they did before.  Even then, the distributor would have to see the market.  Davidson's and others have exclusives now,  but in more popular calibers.  Davidson's has a run of Super's and Bisleys in .41M, but showing OOS.  Probably a good thing (for me, 'cuz that Bisley is purdy).

Also, since the 10mm was never offered by Ruger as a regular production item, Davidson's may own the rights to it.  Meaning, only Davidson's can do it.  Get a couple thousand friends together to commit, and Davidson's might do a run for you.

How many local production 10mm's are currently available?  That should be an indicator of the market, and I'm sure Ruger sees it, too.  Not that it wouldn't be a good idea, but they are in the business to make money.

Ruger still runs the 30 carbine probably about twice a year pending dealer orders.
It took me about 6 months before I was able to find but but that was about a year ago.
Recently, Gallery of Guns had over a dozen in inventory. Ruger has made them for over 20 years, perhaps a bit longer.

Oh yeah, I agree with all you said. The 15 minute rule is a lot ...stupid. I've never liked fleabay much for the same reasons but some things you just don't find around this area. The only purchases I've made on any gun auction sites were buy it now type auctions with realistic shipping fees and no add ons for credit cards.

Btw, the Ruger you have is a good example of a pistol I've never seen and probably never will in this area. Was it a 'convertible' BH with a cylinder in 38/40 and 10mm? As I said, not familiar with it but find it interesting. I like Rugers as they're usually a good value for what they cost. Plus the BHs are strongly constructed......Ruger only loads, etc. ;)

Buckeye Sports was[they're now closed] a Ruger distributor in Ohio[surprise, surprise]. Probably the two best known 'distributor specials' they offered were the 32 Long/32 H&R mag and the 10mm/38-40 Blackhawks.
The two offerings were about 2-3 years apart. The first was the 32 caliber version.
Really neat packages.

I was able to order a couple of his offerings before he passed. A loss for all of us! :'(

I was able to pick up a gently used 10mm/38-40 with only the 10mm showing a turn line for $550 about a year and a half ago. The 32 cal version should be in the same cost range. The seller obviously only has a 'small' ego!! :o
