pin comes in set and recc you swap out when you replace spring.  Mostly for high use if wearing out springs from use, but did it as had part.  Read same about main and pin stop. 

Man what a difference!  Before the brass went about 30-40 ft.  After, it goes 9 ft and lost none.  Great mod for the rock isl

got the 20 lb wolf spring and new fire pin spring and installed.  I really hope it throws brass shorter.  I test drove the gun before spring with 180 grn buff bore sup to be around 1300fps, but did not chrono it.  Brass went a third world country far
recoil was less by far than my sp101 357 3 inch so not feel it at all.  also got the die set and a second mag to go with the brass I got in. 

I am going to polish the trigger group soon and order a few mag extensions as the standard mags are a bit of a pain. 

next, need to find a mag case for belt when cc

new and loving it .  I just got my first 10mm - a Rock Isl tac2 and must say love it.  very easy on recoil even with buff bore 180 going a adv 1300fps.  I reload a lot for rifle and some hg ( 357, 40 s/w).  I build my own rifles and love the 260 rem and 300 wsm. 

I just got a 10 as trade for a 308 I had and must say am impressed.  It shoots better than my ruger 357 sp101 by a lot , but to be fair that ruger is a 3 inch and I load hot with 180 grn hardcast.  I got a rock island and cannot complain it did not have one cycle issue and hit very tight.  Plan is to reload with 180-200 and take a light skin soon.  I will also use it for cc.  Got dies, a wolf 20 lb spring set, starline brass and a mag on the way - thank you midwayusa .  Just wanted to say hello and man am impressed with accuracy of this gun as well as how soft shooting it is even with buff bore which is known for being mod hot!!!!!

I will chrono it and post soon, but prob after this season.
