I was looking at it for other cartridges, it shows a standard pressure230 gr 45 auto load at 934 fps, and a pressure of 19700.

Would longshot be a better choice? Powder selection is still pretty weak around here

Guys, just looking for some loads if anyone has used these two together. Sierra book shows a max of 11 grs., just trying to gather others experience, thanks. Is it possible to get 1350 to 1400? Also where do find the pass thru sizing die?

Last year the boss and I were at the point of getting out of the populated area. Honestly western NY isnt as liberal as the eastern part of the state. Especially, around the cities, we bought 14 acres in the middle of nowhere. One acre pond, its in rifle hunting area, I can take a 2 minute walk and am in my stand. We talked about going to PA. I have family all over southern PA., but starting over at our age wouldnt work, so we moved. Happy as a hog in excrement.

My springer is 9, very rambunctious dogs. You could sleep for 48 hours, he could be up the whole time and still hunt you into the dirt. The perfect pheasant dog

He does amazing things with a 1911, both smithing and shooting. Hes also a really down to earth guy.

My unrestricted NY permit is invalid in nassau, and westchester counties. A NYer cant carry in NYC, I stay away from that dump, or any other city. The non urban areas in NY, are still pretty conservative, ive heard 70 percent arent, for, or against, guns and hunting. The problem is we are connected to a liberal cesspool, called NYC. The applications for pistol permits, skyrocketed, since his majesty was elected president.

Usually I carry my 1006, ive had some tresspassers the last few years. Most leave when confronted, if they dont, I got a buddy who is a sherriff's deputy. The wife found black bear tracks, and a tree that clawed up higher than I could reach. DEC officer estimates a 300 pounder. I'll be looking for him this fall. Until then, the 10mm has more than enough for my field use, and I dont worry about the stainless finish.
