Nice.
For Hunting, I would take it out to 25 yards and see if the accuracy holds up.

I took it as far as our indoor range would allow, 25 yards.  My shoots did open up quite a bit, due to my inability to hold her steady.  My group opened up to about 6"+/-.  I reloaded 250 rounds of the same charge and will practice in closing my group before I take my G20sf in the field for the first hunt.  I have never hunted with a handgun my .270Win has been the caliber of choice.

What would be an acceptable grouping at 25 yards?  I was told I should be able to hit a pie tin consistently at 100 yards with a rifle but not sure with a handgun.  I would NOT take a shot longer than maybe 50 yards.  Thanks -Geo

I have found my 10mm deer hunting load.

Brass- Starline brass
Bullet- Nosler 200gr JHP
Primer- Federal LP
Powder- Blue Dot 10.0gr
C.O.A.L.- 1.254" w/slight taper crimp

Here is a picture of a three shot group at 7 yards.  What are your thoughts?  ;D

Are you a complete newbie to reloading? do you know about blue dot's quirks?
I have been reloading for some time but new to 10mm.  The only Blue Dot quirks I have heard of are huge fire balls that can blind you at night and that its a very loud powder.  ...are there any others that I should know about? Thanks- Geo

WHAT A BEWBIE!!!!!!!!! I posted this in the wrong place! ;D

Great forum guys, kind of nice to have a forum dedicated to 10mm.  I recently picked up a Glock G20sf Gen3 and all the components need for reloading ammo for it.  I plan on developing a load for deer hunting and possibly use it for small to medium size pig.

My reloading equipment and supplies;
Redding T-7 turret press
Dillon 10/40 (14398) dies
Nosler 200gr JHP projectile
Starline 10mm brass
Federal large pistol primer
Blue Dot or W321 powder

I was wondering if any of you have reloaded using the same components, any recommendations or experiences?   I am not sure what powder to use, I guess I could load using both and see what works best.  Thanks for the input.

General Discussion / Re: Introductions

Hi guys!  My name is George and I work for an environmental engineering company.  I own a Glock 20sf Gen3.  I live in Oceanside a city in North San Diego county, California.  ....I know, if it were up to me I would move.  I reload my own ammo and enjoy it just as much as shooting it.  I have always wanted a 10mm pistol and the other day one fell into my lap. ;D  Very nice forum you have here and look foreword in being a part of it. Thanks- Geo
