Armadillos are NOT bulletproof.
The rocks around and behind the darting mammal often times are however...

Also this ^^^^.  They don't have armor.  It's more like a thick, gooey fingernail.  My dog was tearing into one in our yard in the middle of the night.  I had to throw the thing over the fence to save it.  Somehow, I didn't get leprosy.   ;D

This story is BS.

General Discussion / Re: Powder shortages

It's been at least four years since I've seen pistol powder on a shelf.  I am starting to get really low.  I've been BUYING practice ammo.   :o

Don't forget Moore, OK.  People tend to think of terrorism as large groups acting as one.  In fact, IS and AQ has been calling for individuals to carry out their own small scale attacks for at least a decade now.  It happens relatively often, but is rarely reported as such.  The 9/11 animals lived for a while and took pilot training in the OKC metro.

Anywhere.  Anytime.  It's not up to us.

You know that is the second video I have seen of people firing the 220-10 at the range day where it failed to lock the slide back on the last round. From the videos I have seen Sig was putting 5 in each mag. The guy in the Buffalo Bore vid fired five and then you can see he tried to fire again but it was a dry fire.

I hope this is just from his grip and not a sign of things to come with this pistols.

No, guns should lock back unless a person's grip is absolutely ridiculous.  I only fired one partial magazine, so there's no telling from that.  Still, I would expect some bugs in beta testing.  There was only one pistol there the whole day.  There were reports during the morning of failures to go back into battery but those were worked out during the day's shooting.  We shall see.

She works for Glock.  She's nice to talk to whether you see her at range day, the show floor or on the street.  Nice kid.

Sig 10mm with Buffalo Bore!

Centimeter, you beat me to it.  I talked to Tori about the G40 on Monday.  She confided that it was a neat thing for 10mm fans, but it's a bit much for her.

Oh...okay.   ::)

I wish someone at that company would have the grapes to admit they will never make it enough of a priority to actually produce a marketable product.

No.  They don't even have prototypes yet, but I'm on the list with Sig for a T&E model.

I should probably keep my trap shut, but I just listed mine GB... :-[  I need the cash flow to help finance my P220 10mm and some other things I need for my writing, but I'm not dying to sell it, either.  I just made the reserve what I paid for it.  It cost me almost $900 when I bought it in about 2009.

If it's any consolation, I'll post the link to the P220 article if I get one.  ;D

Gear/Equipment / Carry While Running?
November 11 2014 03:18:37 PM MST
I've been carrying a gun while running for at least 17 years.  My mode of carry was an uber-cool fanny pack.  My usual carry gun was the trusty G20.  When I graduated to longer runs (4+ miles) I needed something lighter and less obvious.  I found this http://content.yudu.com/A2r1cj/PoliceMarksmanSO2014/resources/index.htm?referrerUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fpolicemarksman.com%2F a few years ago and have never looked back.  Page 26.

I'm no affiliated with the company.
